Akisa-Kain

Well this summer so far has been fun but crazy! Still behind but I am catching up on my goals, just wanted to update my journal since it's been two months. I also have been having internet issues for the past 2-3 weeks which has been absolutely annoying so that was another reason but I did manage to upload some stuff on my my phone.

My birthday is on Tuesday and I've been debating about selling my computer to buy a Microsoft surface pro 3 for art reasons mostly, so far it sounds like a good deal but I would have to switch from a mac to pc obviously which wouldn't be an easy change but I would be willing to try for something as nice as a tablet that is supposedly suppose to be nicer than most laptops.

Other than that my Zelda cosplay is coming on nicely, we're a little behind but we still have a good month and a half before Comicon so I think if we pick up on it faster it'll look awesome! I'm hoping we can get our Mario and Luigi costumes going, I think all we need to do is dye our overalls since all we could find were white ones and I think the rest will come along nicely. I think I can already get us some hats too, hehe. XD

Anyways that's the basics of how things have been for me lately, how's yours?

I have been very behind on my DA activity lately and I apologize for that! I am starting to post some certain things again. I have still been busy and my internet has been awful!!! For the past two weeks my internet has been bipolar, literally! So seeing my Blue post I have watched Jurassic World and Loved. It!!~ I plan on drawing more inspirational art on that since Owen and the T-Rex are my favs as well. I had also just seen Inside Out yesterday and loved that also! So original and creative, one of those movies people will not be able to shut up about, I'm already having a hard time trying not to spoil both those movies to those who have not seen them!

Anyways I am getting on to cosplays! Luckily I can finally not cosplay alone or the fact cosplaying in groups so you don't look weird with like a Zelda with Toothless for example. But I plan on working on a Zelda cosplay, it was the best thing ever. We got a nice white dress at the thrift shop for $8 but unfortunately we didn't calculate it right and turned it into a skirt so we tried looking for another dress at all these other places and couldn't find another good white dress until we are about to give up but decide to give one more place a shot and... We got an awesome dress, even better we were expecting to get it for $15 and got it for $8. Win! We then found out we could use the skirt for another cosplay so I'm pretty happy that everything worked out in the end! Other than Zelda's (I will be Twilight Princess Zelda) we will being doing Mario and Luigi, I'll be Mario (Girl style, it'll be cute!) Then modern female Thor and Loki (I'll be Loki) Those are what we are planning on working on for the next few conventions.

So I am working on a lot of Kain stuff but I am working on at least one other project that isn't cosplay but I plan on posting more and being more active on here soon!

I decided to edit this since I'm already feeling better for the most part and am actually enjoying this week pretty well now!

 I have finally gotten farther in Kain the book! A little slow on my drawings in general lately, had a little bit of an art block which is common but I'm getting to it by starting on my book, yay
I may delay posting anything for a little bit, if anything they'll be references for Kain's characters/story or for Densa-Regnum in general for now. Maybe some side things for fun but I'm going to knuckle down on this story, it would be awesome to start having people read this story

So it's been a while since I've updated on here. I have been a little slow lately, my sleeping routine had been messed with thanks to myself, work and laziness. I have been drawing a lot lately! I am way too lazy to post the stuff lately though, I got a lot down and I'm ready to start posting. I was able to get a pose from Kain the other day, loving that one. I've got a lot more like it, just getting them ready, can't wait to get those on here!
I'm going to start working on reference sheets on my Kain OCs for the purpose that Moe and I are working on a book, our awesome friend Ice-Nimbus may be joining us (I would put their links in their names but those two are the main ones that will actually read my journal so I figure I may as well won't bother giving them extra mentions on their names when I know they'll read this anyways.) It's a big story plot plan we are starting for our characters, which I am absolutely excited about since it could come out in so many ways in the future and we can have an official book on everything to help us out! May post some stuff about it later on as soon as we get it going!
 
So on another note, this has been bothering me lately.~ I have been trying to get a particularly new job lately since January where this business seemed like they were doing a mass hire and when I applied I got an email for an online interview, I responded with expressing every fiber of my miserable being into that interview hoping to hear back from them and never did so I gave up and started to look at other stuff about mid February, so now a relative of mine mentioned I should look back and see if there were more openings which there were so I applied again and got another email wanting me to interview again. This time the interview doesn't go as I though, somehow it got interrupted in the middle and then shortcut to the end with no explanation. So now I have devised a plan in hopes to email them SO MUCH that they have to eventually respond on why that is because that is bothering me, they can at least let me know SOMETHING. But in that meantime I'm still looking for a better job in hopes of mostly better pay in the future.

Other than that I will pull a common DA user answer and express that I am still alive and kicking! Just a lazy lady when it comes to posting and stuff...

Happy New Year! Just going to update. My Christmas was great! I got to relax on New Years Eve which I'm happy about. Been working mostly lately but I have gotten to more artwork, I am planning on posting more soon!
Also I am starting on Kain character ref sheets (At least the characters that belong to me anyways.) I'll obviously start with Kain but it seems Whisper will be next, other than that I'll start with all of them eventually. Also if you haven't seen this yet I had done a trade with Madame-Kikue they have just finished their end of it~
